As Christmas time approaches, lots of cookies are made at home. However, cookies can run out quickly, especially in homes with children. Considering that these days are school holidays, tiny kitchen mice are always at work:)
However, there is no need to worry that there are no cookies left. Today I will give you a cinnamon cookie recipe, which is extremely easy to make and suits the winter season.
Cinnamon cookies Recipe
Ingredients
230 g flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pk lemon peel, grated
150 g butter
100 g of sugar
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon clove powder
preparation
Beat the butter, yolk, and sugar for a few minutes until frothy. Stir in flour, clove powder, cinnamon, and grated lemon zest and knead into a shortcrust pastry.
Now put the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface and cut out biscuits with a star shape.
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees, top and bottom heat for 10-12 minutes.
