Active Monday: Couple Workout & French Toast With Caramelized Apples


Hello to everyone! Since yesterday was Valentine's Day, today I wanted to add a couple workout as the Active Monday workout video. I also have a recipe for french toast prepared with caramelized apple. It's pretty simple to prepare.


French toast with caramelized apples



ingredients


For the caramelized apples
2 apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
For the French toast
12 slices of toast
3 eggs
500 ml of milk
5 tbsp sugar
Butter for frying

Preparation steps

1. For the caramelized apples, peel, quarter, and core the apples, cut into narrow slices and mix with the lemon juice. Caramelize the sugar in a pan. Add the apples and butter and sauté for about 2 minutes.

2. Use a heart cutter to cut hearts out of the middle of the toast slices. Whisk the eggs with the milk and sugar and soak the toast slices in them. Bake in hot butter for about 1 minute on each side until golden brown. Place a heart toast on each plate, top with a few caramelized apple slices, place a second toast heart on top and repeat the process. Finish with a third toast heart and serve with the remaining apple slices.
