Active Monday - 40 Minute Dancer Workout & Lentil Salad With Oranges



Hello to everyone! Today on the Active Monday healthy lifestyle blog post, I would like to suggest you a dancer workout and a very very healthy lentil salad with oranges. It's still winter and I thought this is a very suitable salad for the winter months.

Lentil salad with oranges


2 oranges
100 g beluga lentils
2 shallots
10 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 pieces romaine lettuce hearts
1 bunch of chives
olive oil


For the lentil salad with oranges, boil the lentils in plenty of water until soft, drain and set aside. Peel the shallots and chop them into small cubes. Remove the peel from the oranges and cut the flesh into finger-thick slices.
Remove the stalk from the lettuce leaves, wash well and pat dry. Cut the chives into rough pieces.
Slowly fry the shallots in 3 tablespoons of olive oil, add the lentils and deglaze with the vinegar. Season well with salt and pepper.
Mix the lettuce hearts with salt, pepper, a tablespoon of olive oil, and a tablespoon of vinegar.
Place the orange slices next to each other, place the lettuce hearts on top and finally distribute the lentils over them. Sprinkle the lentil salad with oranges with chives.
