Hello to everyone from a new Active Monday week. Especially in cold countries, it can be difficult to start an active week and to stay so. But we all know how important is exercising for a healthy life. To keep my healthy lifestyle I also try to motivate myself for winter workouts or walks. Believe me, it's not always easy.
Today I have a 12 minutes total-body toning workout with Blogilates and a whole grain sandwich with tune cream. Hmmm, yummy. Enjoy it:)
Whole grain sandwich with tuna cream
ingredients
2 can (s) of "natural" tuna fillets without oil
100 g skimmed milk yogurt (0.1% fat)
50 g reduced-fat salad cream (10% fat)
salt
pepper
1 (approx. 125 g) tomato
100 g cucumber
25 g lettuce leaves
4 slices (35 g each) wholemeal sandwich toast
Cherry tomato wedges and parsley leaf for garnish
preparation
Drain the tuna in a colander. Mix the yogurt and the salad cream. Season with salt and pepper. Tear up the tuna and stir into the cream. Wash and slice tomato.
Wash and slice the cucumber. Wash the lettuce and shake dry. Toast slices of bread one after the other in a toaster. Spread half of the cream on 2 slices of toast. Top with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
Spread the rest of the cream on top. Place a slice of toast on each, press lightly, and cut in half diagonally. Garnish with tomato wedges and parsley on a platter.
