Active Monday - Fast Toned Abs In 9 Minutes & Herb Grilled Cheese With Lentil Vegetables


Hello to everyone. I hope you are fit and healthy.  Do you think how quickly a week goes by like me? It was just like Monday yesterday, 7 days just passed. If you have a full week like me, eating healthy and trying to stay active becomes even more important.

Today by Active Monday, I wanted to share with you another healthy recipe and a short abs workout.

Meditation videos are getting a lot of requests, I will focus on them in the upcoming broadcasts. In fact, it is understandable to be interested in meditation in a stressful life.

Herb grilled cheese with lentil vegetables

2 pieces Grilled cheese herbs

brown lentils

1 pack tomatoes

1 piece clove of garlic

1 piece Red onion

1 piece Baby spinach

75 g Vegetable broth

4 g carrot

1 piece zucchini

100 g Cream yogurt

10 g Smooth parsley/thyme

12 g Balsamic cream

(Contains wheat, sulfur)

cut vegetables

Peel the carrot, cut in half lengthways and cut into 0.5 cm thin crescents. Peel the onion and cut it into fine strips. Pluck the leaves of the herbs and finely chop them separately. Halve the tomatoes, cut out the stalk, and cut the tomatoes into 1 - 2 cm cubes. Cut off the ends of the zucchini, quarter the zucchini lengthways, and cut into 1 cm thick corners. Peel off the garlic clove.

Sweat the vegetables

In a large pan 1 tbsp [1.5 tbsp | Heat 2 tbsp] olive oil * over medium heat. Press in the garlic, add the carrots, zucchini, and onions, and sweat for 4 - 5 minutes until the onions are translucent.

Add the rest of the vegetables

In the meantime, pour the lentils through a sieve and rinse with water until it flows through clearly. Lentils, diced tomatoes, vegetable stock powder, and 50 ml [75 ml | 100 ml] of water * in the pan and simmer everything together for 4 - 5 minutes, until the carrots are soft.

Fry the grilled cheese

Remove the cheese from the packaging and all foil. Warning: remove the paper around the cheese as well. Pierce the cheese on the top several times with a fork. Heat a large pan over medium heat without adding any fat. Fry the grilled cheese for 4 - 6 minutes, turning regularly until it is browned on the outside and soft on the inside. Tip: do not put the pan too hot and do not forget to turn it regularly, otherwise the cheese can burst and leak.

Add baby spinach in portions to the lentils and let them collapse. Season the lentil vegetables with balsamic cream, a little chopped thyme, salt * and pepper *. Mix the yogurt and chopped parsley in a small bowl and season with a little salt * and pepper *.


Spread the lentil vegetables on plates, serve the grilled cheese on top and enjoy with yogurt. Bon Appetit!
