Active Monday-10 Minute Good Morning Workout & Lemon Chicken

 

Hello everyone! Another week, another Active Monday! I am really enjoying my summer holidays, but are you too? Anyway, here's another easy and healthy recipe for lemon chicken and also a 10 Minute Good Morning Workout from Pamela Reif.

Lemon Chicken Recipe


ingredients



    750 g chicken breast fillet
    50 g butter
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 onion (finely chopped)
    1 clove (s) of garlic (finely chopped)
    5 tbsp Madeira
    1/2 lemon (juice of it)
    1/4 l whipped cream
    8 slice (s) lemon (untreated)
    4 tbsp almonds (roughly chopped)
    salt
    pepper

  •     For chicken with lemon, cut the chicken breast fillets into strips, season with salt and pepper.
  •     Heat half of the butter and oil in a pan. Steam the onion and garlic until translucent and remove from the pan.
  •     Add the remaining butter and oil to the pan and fry the chicken strips until golden brown. Put the onions and garlic back in the pan and add the Madeira.
  •     Bring to the boil over high heat while stirring. Add lemon juice and whipped cream and simmer for a few minutes.
  •     Finally, add the lemon wedges to the pan. Sprinkle with almonds and serve the chicken with lemon immediately.
