5 Books To Read On Holiday Time

Hello to everyone. Thank you very much for reading my posts about Christmas preparation during December and not leaving me alone ☺️. I wish you a Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🌲🧑‍🎄.
Today, I will recommend a few books to those who have the chance to take a vacation these days. I've added some to my reading list.

The Light We Carry-Michelle Obama

This is a book in that First Lady Michelle Obama shares practical wisdom and powerful strategies for staying hopeful and balanced in today’s highly uncertain world.

It Starts With Us-Colleen Hoover

Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil co-parenting rhythm when she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas, again. After nearly two years separated, she is elated that for once, time is on their side, and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date.

But her excitement is quickly hampered by the knowledge that, though they are no longer married, Ryle is still very much a part of her life-and Atlas Corrigan is the one man he will hate being in his ex-wife and daughter's life.

Switching between the perspectives of Lily and Atlas, It Starts with Us picks up right where the epilogue for the bestselling phenomenon It Ends with Us left off. Revealing more about Atlas's past and following Lily as she embraces a second chance at true love while navigating a jealous ex-husband, it proves that "no one delivers an emotional read like Colleen Hoover" (Anna Todd, bestselling author).

101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think

The Midnight Library-Matt Haig

Nora's life has been going from bad to worse. Then, at midnight on her last day on earth, she finds herself transported to a library. There she is given a chance to undo her regrets and try out each of the other lives she might have lived. Which raises the ultimate question: with infinite choices, what is the best way to live? This was the most loved book of 2021.

Sweep of The Heart-Ilona Andrews

A newly released book. Life is busier than ever for Innkeeper, Dina DeMille, and, Sean Evans. But it’s about to get even more chaotic when Sean's werewolf mentor is kidnapped. To find him, they must host an intergalactic spouse search for one of the most powerful rulers in the Galaxy. Dina is never one to back down from a challenge. That is if she can manage her temperamental Red Cleaver chef; the consequences of her favorite Galactic ex-tyrant's dark history; the tangled politics of an interstellar nation, and oh, yes, keep the wedding candidates from a dozen alien species from killing each other. Not to mention the Costco lady.
