If you want to improve the air with candles, it is best to use beeswax or soy candles. When the candles burn down, negative ions are produced which are released into the air in the room. A high proportion of negative ions in the air has a positive influence on health and general well-being. Pollutants (such as viruses, bacteria, and fungal spores) and bad smells in the air often consist of positively charged ions. The negative ions of the beeswax candle combine in the room air with the positive ions of the pollutants and bad smells and pull them down to the floor. This means that fewer pollutants end up in your lungs.
