Footprints

Some of the damages you can look out for include chewed furniture, loose items, frayed wiring and sawdust. Although the holes might not be immediately noticeable, you may see piles of sawdust lying around where the termites have been.
Nests
Finding evidence of a nest is also an indicator that you are dealing with an infestation. Depending on the type of nest the pest has, you may notice various signs. Wasps and even ants tend to be very easy to find as they can be out in the open and they are also very distinguishable. You may also have bees, which tend to congregate at certain times of the year. If you have rodents however then this may be harder for you to identify, as they tend to be in the ceiling voices or the attic.
