Under the artistic direction of Tricia Tuttle, Berlinale 2025 emphasized innovation, inclusivity, and thought-provoking narratives.

A Golden Bear for Norwegian Cinema

One of the festival’s most anticipated moments was the awarding of the Golden Bear, which went to the Norwegian film *Drømmer* (*Dreams*), directed by Dag Johan Haugerud. This deeply emotional drama explores the delicate boundaries between admiration and obsession through the eyes of a teenager infatuated with her teacher. The film’s nuanced storytelling and powerful performances captivated audiences and judges alike, securing its place as this year’s top winner.
