Hello to everyone from 26th Active Monday week.  How is summer days going? We couldn't get rid of the rainy weather yet. I'm sorry I couldn't go swimming. At least we're walking with my daughter. Today I am adding a bikini body workout with a salad recipe that will cool you on hot summer days. Enjoy it.

Lettuce with watermelon and sheep's cheese

healthy salad

The refreshing watermelon tastes great on hot summer days! And it is also rich in various ingredients: Potassium stimulates kidney activity and ensures a balance of acids and bases. Lycopene, which is otherwise mainly found in tomatoes, is a powerful antioxidant that protects the body's cells from harmful influences.

Ingredients

1 large romaine lettuce heart
80 g Rocket (1 bunch)
500 g Watermelon
200 g Feta
1 handful mint
2 tbsp cold-pressed olive oil
2 tbsp Lime juice
salt
pepper

Preparation steps

  • Clean, wash and spin dry romaine lettuce. Wash, clean, select and spin dry the rocket. Peel and dice the melon and crumble the feta. Wash mint, shake dry and pluck leaves.

  • Spread the romaine lettuce and arugula with the melon cubes and the mint leaves on 4 plates. Sprinkle the feta over it. Mix 2 tablespoons of oil with lime juice, salt and pepper into a sauce, season to taste and drizzle over the salad.
